Margie Chown
Margie completed art at tech (now called tafe) many moons ago but
didn't get serious until she retired, at which time she was ravenous
for experience. She attended numerous winter schools at Bathurst and
many workshops with some of Australians best artists. Margie was lucky
to have a wonderful mentor in Ros Hall, who is still painting
today. She was a member of Goulburn, Canberra and Grafton Art societies
where members supported and encouraged one another just as they do
here in Kiama.
