Mary-Jane Burke has won many awards for her paintings. In particular, she loves the excitement of the water colour medium and paints colour studies on her travels, returning to her studio in the beautiful Jamberoo Valley in NSW to paint. As well, Mary-Jane uses acrylic to capture the colours and light of the Australian landscape. Mary-Jane studied art at Wollongong TAFE and has attended many workshops to develop her own style. Her paintings are in private collections in Australia and overseas. She exhibits in galleries in Sydney, the Illawarra and across NSW.       |
